Little Beacons Snapshot
Based within our wonderfully spacious Early Years setting – the Oakway Building – our Little Beacons take their first steps on their educational journey, supported and encouraged throughout by our dedicated Nursery team.
Child-centred Education
Our Little Beacons learn skills, acquire new knowledge and demonstrate an understanding by working towards the seven areas of learning and development.

PE, Swimming (in our heated indoor pool), French, Music and

Free-flow, play-led experiences,
introduction to numbers,
shapes, numerical patterns, measuring and
Phonics, as well as Cooking, Art, Topic and Library activities.

curiosity to try new things, helping our boys
become independent thinkers and learners.

Our Little Beacons learn through adult-led play, collaboration, investigation and exploration.
We respond to individual interests and learning needs, tailoring education to inspire our boys, ensuring they fulfill their personal, creative, and physical potential.

There is a full range of stimulating activities available in our spacious Early Years environment.
Little Beacons enjoy regular Outdoor Learning adventures in the beautiful woodlands surrounding the school to develop a real love and respect for nature.
Be Confident
Little Beacons benefit from a host of sporting activities, being taught key elements
of ball sports, practising agility, balance & coordination.
Our boys enjoy lessons in
PE, Swimming (heated indoor pool), French, Music and Movement, all given by caring and specialist staff.

Pastoral care and wellbeing is central to the ethos.
We have a dedicated Medical Centre, with two fully qualified Nurses on site for the full school day.
Our aim is that Little Beacons enjoy every moment of their time.
